Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Agentic Decks website and the Deckrun API (collectively, the "Service"), operated by TrustStix Inc, a California corporation ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Agentic Decks provides access to Deckrun — a document rendering API that converts structured markdown into PDFs, videos, and audio assets. The Service is offered in two tiers:

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. API keys are issued to a single account and may not be shared, resold, or embedded in publicly accessible applications or repositories.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Free Tier

The free tier is provided without charge, without warranty, and without any service level agreement. We may modify, rate-limit, or discontinue the free tier at any time without notice. Free tier usage is subject to rate limits stated in the documentation.

4. Paid Subscriptions

4.1 Plans and Render Units

Paid plans are billed monthly. Each plan includes a monthly allocation of Render Units (RUs) — a usage metric based on the number of pages rendered and output types produced (PDF, video, audio). Unused RUs do not carry over between billing periods.

4.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically on the same day each month. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file via Stripe. Prices are stated at checkout and may change with 30 days notice.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until then.

4.4 Refunds — Use It or Lose It

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Render Units are consumed as you use the Service. Unused RUs at the end of a billing period are forfeited — they do not roll over and are not refunded. This applies to cancellations, downgrades, and account deletions alike.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate.

4.5 Overages

If you exhaust your monthly RU allocation, the Service will decline further generation requests until your plan renews or you upgrade. We do not automatically charge for overages.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all markdown content, assets, and data you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of fulfilling your API requests. We do not use your content to train models or share it with third parties.

Submitted content is processed transiently and retained only as long as reasonably necessary to complete, deliver, and make available the resulting artifacts, after which it is deleted in accordance with our internal retention policies.

Unless delivered to a customer-controlled output destination, generated artifacts are made available via temporary URLs hosted by us. We do not guarantee long-term availability of hosted artifacts and recommend customers download or deliver outputs to their own storage.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service, including the Deckrun engine, schemas, and website, are owned by TrustStix Inc. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of our software or trademarks.

8. Availability and SLA

We aim for high availability on paid plans but do not guarantee any specific uptime. Scheduled maintenance and force majeure events are excluded from any availability calculations. The free tier is offered with no availability guarantee.

Specific availability commitments may be provided under a separately executed enterprise agreement.

For clarity, references to "deterministic" or "reproducible" behavior describe the relationship between valid inputs and output structure, not a guarantee of availability, latency, or delivery time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustStix Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
